Sale for 40 Hells!

My brothers 40 Hells from Atlanta, GA asked me to help finish paying to get their new 7” released… Which I would have been involved in from the start if I weren’t flat broke and doing good just to keep the bills payed! But I really wanna help them out so what we’re gonna do is have a Sale for 40 Hells! All of the 7”s are now knocked down to a flat $3 each, which is less than it cost to make them, and the CDs are $6 each. You can even get all three CD albums for just $15! Or if you don’t care about owning records anymore you can buy some downloads on the bandcamp page. Everything on there has a purchase option aside from Annalise and Mr. Clit And The Pink Cigarettes which will always be free. Here Come The Intrepids have agreed to donate any purchases to the 40 Hells fund as well. Or if you do want hard copies but hate to pay/wait on shipping you can get everything direct from me in Chattanooga or Joel in Atlanta until the copies I gave him run out! And I have a small list of distro items that are available if you come and ask. You can also stream their new 7” Looking For Answers on the bandcamp just to whet your appetite! The 7” will be available for download with two bonus tracks very soon and it’s the best stuff they’ve done so far.

Radio, Radio!

I shall be on TDB Pirate Radio again tonite! This time with my kiddies Mr. Clit And The Pink Cigarettes. We’ll make fun of ourselves and act really stupid so it should be a good time! The show starts at 10pm EST so don’t miss out! You can also stream their first EP Cancer Tastes Great on the bandcamp now. This is good a time as any to release it, right? It’s going to be a free download just as soon as I tweak the artwork for it. Making a traycard and such for anyone that wants to print the stuff out. And it was almost remixed by Dave from Shatterhand… But after working on it for months the end product sounded exactly the same as the original mixes…haha!! Thanks for the help regardless, Dave. Mr. Clit also has their first split 7” which you can hear more about tonite.

There Goes The Intrepids!

First off we all want to say thank you so much to the 9 people that pledged to the Kickstarter project for Here Come The Intrepids! You dig the tunes, believe in what we’re trying to do, and did your best to help us out. But, seeing as we only reached $86 of our $300 goal, it was a complete and total flop. Two months of hard work for nothing… I did little more than sit at home watching DVDs and listening to records for 6 weeks after that. Even though exactly what I expected to happen, happened. It was a bitter pill to swallow. So, just like I said, Unsane Asylum will not be releasing this CD. I’m beyond flat broke. But, seeing as Ed has been at this game longer than I, he wasn’t too surprised either. And he asked that I make this available for download. All of the artwork is included too so you can make copies and DIY your own CD if you so desire! Kei of Fixing A Hole will still be releasing this in Japan also. Though I’m sure it will take a while longer since he now has to pay for everything himself. Sorry I didn’t get to work with you, Kei. Special mention to Tim of TDB Pirate Radio too. That man busted his ass trying to help us out! You’re a real trooper, mate! Now you’re all saying “just shut the fuck up and give us the music already!”. Then go to the bandcamp page and hit download. You have the option of paying as little as $0.00 for the entire album and at least 80% of any donations are going to Ed and Keith. Happy Holidays and enjoy!

This one time at Bandcamp…

You can now download all Unsane Asylum releases “legally” online! The vinyl only releases can be streamed, along with everything else, and downloaded through my bandcamp. And the CD releases are all on the website releases page. With the exception of Zapiain, since Bombed Out has that up on iTunes, and anything else that has not dropped yet. But seeing as iTunes basically blackballs small labels like mine with less than 20 releases and no barcodes you can download Jibberjabber for just $5.00 which also comes with their last 5 track EP! More release news coming really soon and don’t forget everything in the webstore is still 20% off!!!
