The time is near!!! I paid off the remaining balance of the new 40 Hells 7” (that they’ve been working to get finished for nearly a year now) last week! So as soon as we finish sorting out the artwork, get it printed, cut, and assembled, this release will finally see the light of day. So it will DEFINITELY be completed by the end of May! If you haven’t listened already, the full stream of Looking For Answers is on the bandcamp, and there’s two extra bonus tracks on the download. We’re also extremely close on sending in the order on the Nosecone Prophets / Shatterhand split 7”. The masters are on their final mix, artwork is getting it’s final touches, and I’m filling out all the paperwork. So it should be sometime in June that it’s ready for your earholes. And seeing as that’s about $1000 going on my credit card it would be super awesome if you bought some stuff so I can keep paying my rent! All of the 7”s that are still available are at the rock bottom price of $2, which is going back to $4 as soon as the 40 Hells records arrive, and the CD’s are $6 or all three for $15. Those won’t be at that price forever either as there’s new CD albums on the board as well! And there’s buyable downloads of almost everything on the bandcamp.

On the latest episode of Jerry Springer, uhh… I mean TDB Pirate Radio, we have an interview with Nosecone Prophets! This just might be the funniest episode Tim has ever done. Certainly the most random one! …and it wasn’t that long ago he talked to Mr. Clit And The Pink Cigarettes so that should give you some perspective on things. They (tried to) talk about the band, recording their new album (which is happening right now), and a few other things. And if you think this was funny you should have seen the chat going along with it! I would have payed to be able to see the live video that the TDB crew were watching while this all happened… Anyway, enjoy the show, and you’ll hear more about NCP very soon!
This show rocked! And was an all around entertaining evening… Jonny got in a wreck on the way to pick me up (and it wasn’t even his car). Then we almost ran out of gas. After filling up the car wouldn’t start back until we slammed all the doors and turned the dome light off. Almost got lost but were actually right on track. Which we didn’t figure out until Jonny quit texting and opened up his GPS. Saw Dalton and Pepper for the first time in 6 months after arriving in Rome. I missed those kids! The top-knotch security didn’t notice two knives in my pockets while frisking me from head to toe. My response was “that’s the most fun I’ve had all day!” that made them all fall over laughing. I got in for free just because I look like a rock star. And was about to pay Pepper’s way in when they said “your girlfriend gets in for free!”. Hello honorary girlfriend for the night… Nosecone Prophets kicked ass as always. Then Danny drunkenly started the car with no key before driving home! When Jonny can barely do it with the key. And to wrap up the evening we almost got lost again after stopping at Checkers. Good times happen when you aren’t a whiney bitch or a drama queen.

Mr. Clit And The Pink Cigarettes are some of the most awesomely weird and sweetest people I’ve ever met! Seriously, check them out if you haven’t yet. And of course Nosecone Prophets always kicks ass. You’ll be seeing things by NCP and Mr. Clit on UAR in the near future. I was bummed that Davey Burdon had to cancel, and he was really sorry to have to do it, but shit happens. He’ll make it up to us soon. And I was the only one not surprised that Mackey started a fight after showing up that night too. Go figure?
Remember when I said Nosecone Prophets will end up on Unsane Asylum? Yeah, you do. Well they are now! And it’s a pleasure to welcome some good friends aboard. Justin (singer/guitarist) told me a few days ago that they will be recording soon, to be done by Joel of 40 Hells, and it all gelled after that. It should be sometime late in the year when their EP comes out. Which will not fail to impress! I also picked this video because it’s from the day UAR became full-time and so many of my favorite people were in the room with me. Good times…
