This is amazing!!! VisionistFinland uploaded both The Phoenix Foundation and Cigarette Crossfire’s (almost) entire set from when they played Helatorstai-klubilla on January 5th! It looks like these dudes film just about every show they attend too. Major fucking kudos for that kind of dedication! Thanks for pointing me to these, Ilkka! Links to both are below since I can only embed one video…
Remember when I said Nosecone Prophets will end up on Unsane Asylum? Yeah, you do. Well they are now! And it’s a pleasure to welcome some good friends aboard. Justin (singer/guitarist) told me a few days ago that they will be recording soon, to be done by Joel of 40 Hells, and it all gelled after that. It should be sometime late in the year when their EP comes out. Which will not fail to impress! I also picked this video because it’s from the day UAR became full-time and so many of my favorite people were in the room with me. Good times…
Oh yes, it’s another band announcement! And it was inevitable that this one end up here being so weirdly awesome and such incredibly sweet kids too… How can you not love Mr. Clit And The Pink Cigarettes?! We’ll be doing a free release of their first CD that was recorded last summer. After it’s remastered by our resident guru Dave McIntosh. And hopefully work together after that too! Big things are coming… Big things.
Seems I never announced this properly! The Vivs! will be doing a free release on Unsane Asylum soon. Basically all that needs to be done is work out some details like the artwork with their singer, Doug. So it will be in the area of a month before their album becomes available online. Anyone with a sharp eye will notice that’s Dalton from The Mackeys playing guitar for them too! Tons more videos on their youtube also.
Here’s a video of Shatterhand’s new song “Sleeping With The Lights On” that was caught in Glasgow last night!!! The audio is pretty blown out, as often happens with live clips, but the tune sounds great. Can’t wait to hear some studio recordings! They’re working on a full album…
